The Scientist left for Omaha this morning. I dropped him off at the rental car place on my way to tennis. When we left the house the news was reporting that NASA had lost contact with the space shuttle Columbia. By the time I left the rental car place the tragic news was in. My heart goes out to the friends, family, and colleagues of the space shuttle astronauts.

Sherry's entry made me cry. Challenger is such a vivid memory for me and the rest of my generation who watched it on TV in school.
